Universitas Kristen Maranatha, Institut Kesehatan Immanuel dan GMIT Kerjasama Kembangkan Pendidikan

KUPANG, www.sinodegmit.or.id, Universitas Kristen Maranatha Bandung, Institut Kesehatan Immanuel Bandung dan Gereja Masehi Injili di Timor (GMIT) menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dan Perjanjian Kerja Sama (PKS) untuk pengembangan Pendidikan, di Resto Waroenk Seafood Oriental, Kupang, pada Minggu (28/7).
Kerja sama tersebut meliputi beberapa hal, yakni pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, pengimplementasian Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi dan kegiatan akademik lainnya.
Ketua Majelis Sinode GMIT, Pdt. Semuel B. Pandie dalam sapaannya berbicara tentang pengembangan Pendidikan di GMIT.
“GMIT memiliki 581 Sekolah dengan persoalan yang berbeda-beda dan tidak mudah untuk diselesaikan, butuh proses. Kami bersyukur untuk kerja sama ini, ada komitmen bersama untuk mengembangkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, untuk mahasiswa, para Pendeta dan Jemaat,” kata Pdt. Semuel.
Prof. Ir. Sri Widiyantoro, M.Sc., Ph.D selaku Rektor Universitas Kristen Maranatha berbicara tentang beberapa Fakultas yang ada di Universitas Kristen Maranatha Bandung.

“Suatu kehormatan besar bagi kami bisa bekerja sama dengan Sinode GMIT. Kami memiliki 6 Fakultas dengan pilihan program studi yang sangat beragam sesuai dengan permintaan calon mahasiswa. Ada Fakultas Kedokteran, Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi, Fakultas Psikologi, Fakultas Teknologi dan Rekayasa Cerdas, Fakultas Humaniora dan Industri Kreatif dan Fakultas Hukum dan Bisnis Digital. Semua ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan Pendidikan,” kata Sri Widiyantoro.
Sementara itu ada Fakultas Keperawatan dan Fakultas Kesehatan dengan program studi masing-masing pada Institut Kesehatan Immanuel Bandung. Dr. Wintari Hariningsih, S.Kp., SH, MH.Kes selaku Rektor mengucapkan terimakasih kepada GMIT untuk dukungannya selama ini. Para alumni Institut Kesehatan Immanuel telah berkarya dan melayani di berbagai lembaga di wilayah pelayanan GMIT.
Dengan adanya MoU tersebut, terbuka ruang beasiswa bagi para pendeta dan anggota gereja yang ingin studi lanjut, dan juga untuk Studi Pengembangan Pelayanan (SPP) di GMIT.
